Welcome to The Zion Park District

DOG OBEDIENCE
Basic obedience training with lots of praise results in a good
working, happy, and reliable dog. You’ll teach your dog basic
commands, heel, sit, stay, down, and come. Dogs should be 8
weeks to 6 months for the puppy class and 7 months and older
for the beginner class. Don’t bring your dog to the first class, but
please bring a copy of your dog’s immunization records.

DOG AGILITY
Your dog will jump over hurdles, walk the beam and go through
tunnels. Dogs must be 6 months or older. Don’t bring your dog

ADULT BALLROOM DANCE
Renew and review the basic dance steps. This class includes
popular ballroom dances such as the Fox Trot, Tango with Salsa
and Swing and will add new variations and style to them.
Couples and singles are welcome to join the class.

OIL PAINTING
This adult class works with oils and/or acrylics. You’ll create a
painting from a picture or photo of your choice.

KNITTING & CROCHETING
Learn how to knit and/or crochet. Each class is 5 weeks long.

Basic Microsoft Excel
Learn all of the things you need to know to use Microsoft Excel
completely. Beginners, novice users, and intermediate level
users will benefit from this class. This course will cover: format
cells, manipulate, sort and filter data, import images plus much
more.

Advanced Microsoft Excel
This class has all of the tips and tricks to allow you to use Excel
to its fullest potential. You don’t have to be a pro to look like one!
Bring a laptop and follow along with the instructor during class.

Heartsaver CPR/AED
You will be instructed to how to perform adult, child and infant
CPR along with instruction on how to help a choking victim.
Basic training in the use of an automatic external defibrillator is
included in this class. These devices also known as AED’s are
common in public places. They are designed to provide immediate
defibrillation to the victim of cardiac arrest.
