WALK ZION
Zion Park District will be sponsoring a family fitness walk! This is
a free 3 mile walk for children and grown-ups alike. The walk is
non-competitive and will stress the benefits of daily exercise
through walking.
The walk will begin and end at Shiloh Park. Strollers are welcome.
Refreshments will be served at the end of the walk.
Registration will be taken at the Leisure Center. There is no fee.
Come out and show your support for walking.

Location: Meet at Shiloh Park (Tennis Courts)

ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT
MARCH 22
The Easter Bunny will be busy hiding 10,000 eggs with 3,000
prizes inside. He’ll be there in person to watch your little
ones...age 8 and younger...gather them up. (No bags or baskets
allowed.) Lucky finders of 4 golden eggs will receive new bicycles!
Saturday – March 22 - rain or shine - Shiloh Park, 27th
Street side. 9:00 A.M.

BATON FESTIVALS
Dates for baton festivals are:
• AprilFest - Sunday, April 27
• BatonFest ’08– June 8
• State Championships - July 6
Baton Festivals start at 9:00 AM and will be held at the Zion High
School Horizon Campus. More than 200 twirlers of all ages and
levels will compete in more than 80 categories.
These contests are sanctioned by the National Baton Twirlers
Association.

SCHOOLS OFF FUN DAYS
This program along with childcare will provide fun and recreation
on those school days off. Registration is limited. The registration
deadline for each day will be one week prior to the day. Bring a
sack lunch and beverage on days that do not include lunch.
Children will be divided into groups by age.
