GO ZION Kick-off Event Details Released

Zion Park District releases GO Zion kick-off event details.

The GO Zion kick-off will be held at the Leisure Center, 2400 Dowie Memorial Drive, on Saturday, June 9 at 9am. Zion Park District staff will guide a 30 minute walk along a designated path and conclude with a celebration for all to enjoy. GO Zion is an initiative under GO Lake County, which is a partnership between Zion Park District and Live Well Lake County.

GO Zion is a community wellness movement designed to increase community health through activity, education and collaboration presented by the Zion Park District.

“We want to create a culture in our community that promotes physical movement. GO Zion is designed to encourage everyone to make a commitment to themselves and get moving for 30 minutes each day,” explained Marilyn Krieger, Executive Director for Zion Park District.
