Zion Park District Announces Vacancy on the Park Board

After 10 years of exemplary service, Zion Park District Board Commissioner Mike McDowell is resigning his position on the Board in order to serve as a newly elected Zion City Council Commissioner. We congratulate him on his new position to serve our community.

In order to fill Mr. McDowell’s seat on the Board, the Zion Park District Board of Commissioners invite interested individuals to submit a letter of interest and qualifications to the Zion Park District, Attn: Marilyn Krieger, Director of Parks and Recreation, 2400 Dowie Memorial Dr., Zion, IL 60099 by May 11, 2015. Park Board Commissioners must live within the Zion Park District and serve without compensation.
