Zion Park District Helping Hand Community Garden

Planting is underway for the second year at the Helping Hand Community Garden located in Hermon Park, at 2700 29th Street, Zion. New Tech High students started the seedlings and participated in the May 3rd planting day. The garden incorporates educational training from the University of Illinois Extension – Illinois Master Gardeners. The garden was designed by students from New Tech High at Zion-Benton East and is here for all to enjoy. Please join us at the garden for our next planting date on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:00pm.
