The Zion Park District Announces the Retirement of Sally Mintern

Sally Mintern retired from the Zion Park District on Friday, June 17th after completing 40 years of service. Sally began her career at the Zion Park District in May of 1976 as a part-time lifeguard & swim instructor. She then completed her degree in Parks & Recreation at Eastern Illinois University in 1979 and was then hired full-time as the Aquatics Director. In 1985 Sally became the Leisure Center Director and served in that capacity up to her retirement. Sally’s dedication to the Park District and to the local community is greatly appreciated.
